Located on the north-western coast of the Côtes d’Armor département, the Côte de Granit rose is considered one of the most beautiful coasts in France. Dotted with islands and islets, coves and beaches, picturesque little harbours, it also offers an unusual landscape. The latter is made up of strangely shaped granite chaos, sometimes defying the laws of balance, and forming a strange picture of giant sculptures including the “dice”, the “tortoise”, Napoleon’s hat… The tour takes place mainly along the customs path. The trail is a feast for the eyes, as the colors change with the seasons, with gorse, heather or callune blooms, and with the time of day.
