Welcome and reception upon your arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Day 2: Lima - Paracas - Pisco - Paracas

Departure by private vehicle on the Panamericana. Arrival at the hotel in Paracas and relax time Note: around 4h of route.   You will take off for an aerial tour of these mysterious lines. The first drawing you can see is the whale about 63 meters long, followed by the astronaut (curious portrait with alien features), the dog, the monkey (110m.), The hummingbird, the condor, the spider, the pelican ( 300m long), the parrot, the tree, the hands and the lizard.   According to the researches of Maria Reiche, famous German mathematician who dedicated her life to the study of these mysterious forms, the drawings represent an astrological calendar.   Note 1: Airport taxes in the amount of US $ 4.50 per person to be paid on site. Tourist ticket for the Nazca lines to be paid on site: S / 45 per person. Note 2: The overflight is subject to climatic conditions. Day 3: Paracas - Lima - Arequipa

Departure from the private dock of the Hacienda Paracas hotel. Excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where many sea lions and various birds peacefully await you. Also called the "Galapagos of Peru", this archipelago is famous for the exploitation of its guano which has accumulated for centuries on the cliffs of the coast.   Bathed in cold waters rich in fish, these islands are also an important ornithological reserve where many colonies of birds live together (penguins, cormorants, terns, etc.), as well as a large number of sea lions that you can observe from the boat.   In the early afternoon you then head back to Lima airport in a private transport. Day 4: Arequipa

Day 5: Arequipa - Colca Valley - Yanque

Morning departure in a private vehicle along the road that leads to the Colca canyon. We will pass through the Pampa Cañahua region, a nature reserve for vicunas and other camelids.   We will also make a stop at the Patapampa pass at 4,900 m of altitude, to admire views of the Ampato, Sacanbaya and Hualca-Hualca volcanoes.   Arrival at the hotel.   In the late morning, departure by private vehicule with your guide to the village of Coporaque. Coporaque, cradle of the Collagua culture, where the Inca empire began its expansion at the time of the Inca Mayta Capac and later became the residence of Francisco Pizarro's brother.   This quiet village lives on agriculture, livestock and more recently, rural community tourism. It maintains its customs, traditions and culture, while opening up to the world and presenting its natural wonders, flora, fauna and landscapes.   Arrival at the family where you will have lunch.   In the afternoon, visit of the village of Coporaque (Church, Plaza de Armas, cultural house...).   Afterwards, walk of about 45 minutes to the thermal baths of the village crossing the fields of culture arranged in Andean terraces (entrance fee to be paid in situ: 15 soles).   Return to your hotel at the end of day. Day 6: Colca Valley - Cruz del Condor - Yanque

After breakfast we will take to the road as far as the lookout point of Cruz del Condor where the true depth of the canyon (1200 m) can be appreciated and where we can observe Andean condors in flight. Return toward Chivay stopping along the way at the lookout points of Antahuilque and Choquetico, the pre Inca cemetery and the picturesque villages of Maca (3262m) and Yanque (3417m). Free time in the afternoon or an optional excursion (ask us for more details). Departure from your hotel by private transport with your English speaking guide to the village of Canocota (3750 m) which is located 15 km north of the provincial capital of Cañon de Colca on the Callalli road. From Canacota, you can see the pretty church built of volcanic stone (sillar). The beginning of the walk will allow you to enjoy a panoramic plunging view on the canyon (altitude 3.850 m) and to see in the distance the Hualca Hualca volcano (6025 m) which is at the foot of the village of Cabanaconde. The path is easy and pleasantly punctuated with diversified and abundant flora as one goes down towards the río Colca. You will discover for example the Muña, some queales and different varieties of cactus. At the end of the hike you will see the imposing thermal site of calera de Chivay which is 3 km from the village. Day 8: Titilaka

This day is devoted to the discovery of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, among a wide selection of excursions and walks on demand. You could choose your activity between: Visit to the Uros Islands, floating islands built by the tribe of the same name whose fishing and weaving are the main activities, and Taquile, an island of great cultural interest whose inhabitants live in accordance with ancestral traditions. Day 11: Cusco - Poroy - Aguas Calientes

Transfer to Poroy train station. Departure on the luxurious Hiram Bingham train at 09:00 am. Enjoy the welcome show with typical dances of the region and departure to Machu Picchu.   Gourmet lunch served on board.   Arrival at Machu Picchu Pueblo train station around 12:30. From there we will take a bus to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu Arrival at the archaeological site, wonder of the world.   Afternoon tour of Machu Picchu with train passengers (approximately 10) and a guide.   Tea time served around 4:00 p.m. at the Sanctuary Lodge.   Note 1: The train does not run on the last Sunday of each month. Day 12: Aguas Calientes - Ollantaytambo - Moray - Maras - Sacred Valley

Morning you board the first class train to Ollantaytambo. Arrival at Ollantaytambo and visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo and its cyclopean stones which was the site of fierce battles between Incas and Spaniards. If time permits, after the visit you can stroll through the cobbled streets of the city. Then, the cultural site of Moray, a former Inca agricultural laboratory. Continuation in a private vehicle to the cultural site of Moray, a former Inca agricultural laboratory. Lunch in the gastronomic restaurant Mil Centro. A unique 8-course tasting experience in an exceptional setting overlooking the Moray site. Day 13: Sacred Valley - Cusco - Lima

Transfer from the hotel in the Sacred Valley to Cusco airport (journey time approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Arrival scheduled 2 hours before the departure of your flight.   Flight with destination to Lima. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure in Lima. Suggestions :   From Miraflores you can go to the local market of Surquillo. In this market you will discover national products: fish, shellfish, fruits, fresh vegetables, spices of all kinds... and perhaps you will even come across Suri, this plump white worm consumed in the Amazon !   Miraflores proudly hosts an archaeological marvel nestled in the city's core: a pre-Inca pyramid. Behold the Huaca Pucllana, a pyramidal temple crafted with adobe and clay bricks by the Wari civilization between 800 and 1000 AD. Recent excavations have unveiled mummies and a plethora of human offerings, adding a fascinating layer to the historical tapestry of this ancient site.   Walk along the "malecon", a long promenade which borders the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, from the Miraflores lighthouse to the Larcomar shopping center via the Parque del Amor. It is possible to reach Barranco on foot following the malecon (around 45 minutes walk).   In Barranco, we advise you to stroll through the streets around the Plaza de Armas, to pass by the bridge of sighs ("puente de los suspiros") and walkd down the "bajada de los baños", a pedestrian alley which connects to the beach of Barranco. Unlike the modern district of Miraflores, Barranco still retains its old architecture, with very beautiful, colorful colonial houses. The artistic and bohemian district par excellence where street art dominates, you will find there many designer boutiques, art galleries, small cafes and restaurants !   The most adventurous can go to the Historic center of Lima, but we advise you to take a taxi from your hotel (around 30 minutes). Day 14: Lima

Departure for the visit to the historical center of the Peruvian capital. Explore the colonial district, passing through Plaza San Martin and Plaza de Armas, and visit the San Francisco Convent.   Then, explore the collection at the Larco Herrera Museum located in the Pueblo Libre neighborhood.   The museum boasts one of the largest private collections of pre-Columbian art in Peru, precisely documenting the chronology of various civilizations that thrived, including the so-called pre-Inca cultures. Its galleries showcase splendid pieces of pottery, textile art, mummies, and jewelry, providing insights into Peru's pre-Columbian history.
