Day 2: Lima - Cusco
After breakfast, pick-up at the hotel to start your city tour of Lima in a shared service with english
speaking tour guide. We will begin with the modern part and have a panoramic visit of Huaca Pucllana,
belonging to the Lima culture. Then, we head to downtown Lima to explore the colonial part. Visit the
Plaza de Armas and the catacombs of San Francisco. The monastery has been listed as a UNESCO
World Heritage Site since 1991. It is a Spanish Baroque-style religious building. We will end this visit at
the Love Park, located in front of the Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Chinchero - Maras - Moray - Sacred Valley
The tour includes visits in a shared service with english speaking tour guide (the 5* program has this
service privately) to three tourist centers in the region, located near Urubamba. We will start with a brief
stop in the town of Chinchero for about 20 minutes. Next, we will visit Moray, a formidable
archaeological complex composed of overlapping terraces that form a large agricultural laboratory.
Finally, we will visit the town of Maras and its salt mines, composed of more than 3,000 pools, which are
traversed by a stream of saltwater that nourishes them and, with the action of the intense sun, coarse
salt crystals emerge, which are later harvested.

Day 4: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Transfer to the Ollantaytambo station in a private service (with a driver only) to board the train to the
town of Machu Picchu, also called Aguas Calientes. After the train journey, you will arrive at the Machu
Picchu station where our staff will greet you, accompany you to our office to introduce you to your guide,
and then assist you in boarding the bus that will take you to the entrance of the citadel. The guided tour
is led by our expert guides in a shared service with english speaking tour guide (the 5* program has this
service privately), who will ensure you have a memorable experience and achieve what you came for
(nature, history, photographs). At the end of the visit, our staff will assist you in boarding the train back
to Cusco.

✓ San Blas neighborhood: One of the most traditional neighborhoods of Cusco, known as the
artisans' neighborhood. In its narrow, cobbled streets are the most emblematic workshops of the
city's craftsmanship. Located above the Plaza de Armas, it offers one of the most beautiful views
of Cusco.
✓ Plaza de Armas: The central place of the city that houses two churches and is one of the most
beautiful colonial squares in Peru. Also the Cathedral (exterior visit), the ancient heart of the
capital of the Inca Empire. It was built with stones from the Inca site of Sacsayhuamán over nearly
a century starting in 1560.
✓ San Pedro Market: A quick visit to one of the markets most frequented by the Cusqueños, where
we can appreciate different products and crafts.
✓ Coricancha or Temple of the Sun (outside visit): Built by Emperor Pachacútec, this temple was
used by the Incas to worship their main gods: Viracocha, the supreme god; Inti, the sun god; Quilla,
the moon; Chaska, the stars; Illapa, thunder and lightning; K'uychi, the rainbow.
Excursion to the Rainbow Mountain "Palccoyo" in a shared service:
Early morning departure to Palccoyo, the Rainbow Mountain. Palccoyo is a set of three colorful mountains
located about 3 hours southeast of Cusco, in the community of Palccoyo, Checacupe district. In addition
to the rainbow range (the three colorful mountains) that offer a magnificent natural spectacle, from the
top of Palccoyo you get a fantastic view of Ausangate, one of the highest mountains in Peru. There is also
a stone forest around the site that gives the landscape a unique look. Along the way, you can see alpacas,
vicuñas, and community inhabitants. The mountain is colored due to the minerals present in the soil:
copper oxide, sandstone, red clay. It is estimated that these are sediments left by the water that covered
the region millions of years ago. Lunch on the way and return to Cusco. (Breakfast and lunch are included
in this excursion)

Day 6: Cusco - Puno
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station to take the tourist bus that will take you to the city of Puno in
a shared service with english speaking tour guide. Along the way, we will enjoy the landscape of the
Peruvian Andes and make several stops to visit the main tourist attractions, such as:
✓ Andahuaylillas: Known as "The Sistine Chapel of America" due to the beauty of its frescoes,
gold leaf work, and paintings of the Cusqueña school it houses inside.
✓ Raqchi: The Temple of Wiracocha is one of the most important sites in Raqchi, with its 92
meters in length and 25 meters wide. It also has a central adobe wall about 15 meters high.
✓ La Raya: On the way from Puno to Cusco, you will find this magnificent halfway point or border
between Cusco and Puno called La Raya. After visiting La Raya, we will continue our journey.

fishermen who have made the use of Totora reeds a lifestyle. Next, we will head to Taquile Island, then
slowly make our way back to the city. We will observe an indigenous community that preserves ancestral
ways.
