Day 2: Lima - Arequipa
After your breakfast, pick-up at the hotel to start your city tour of Lima in shared service with english
speaking tour guide. We will begin with the modern part and have a panoramic visit of the Huaca
Pucllana, belonging to the Lima culture. Next, we head to downtown Lima to explore the colonial part.
Visit the Plaza de Armas and the catacombs of San Francisco. The monastery has been a UNESCO
World Heritage Site since 1991. It is a Spanish Baroque-style religious building. We will end this visit at
the Park of Love, located in front of the Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Arequipa
After breakfast, you will take a walking tour of the white city of Arequipa in a shared service with english
speaking tour guide. You will go to the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral (exterior visit), and then discover
the Church of the Company, as well as the Santa Catalina Convent, a true city within a city with its streets
lined with colorful houses.

Day 4: Arequipa - Puno
In the morning, transportation will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the city of Puno. This will be

Day 5: Puno - Lago Titicaca - Puno
Transfer to the port of Puno where we will board a motorboat in a shared service with english speaking
tour guide. On the way, we visit the floating islands, inhabited by the legendary Uros, fishermen who have
made the use of Totora reeds a way of life. Next, we will depart for Taquile Island, then slowly head towards
the town. We will observe an indigenous community that preserves ancestral ways.

Day 6: Puno - Cusco
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station to take the Tourist Bus that will take you to the city of Cusco
(shared service with english speaking tour guide). Along the way, you will enjoy the landscape of the
Peruvian Andes and make several stops to visit the main tourist attractions, such as:
La Raya: On the way from Puno to Cusco, you will find this magnificent midpoint or border between Cusco
and Puno called La Raya. After visiting La Raya, you will continue your journey.
Raqchi: The Temple of Wiracocha is one of the most important sites in Raqchi, with its 92 meters in length
and 25 meters in width. It also has a central adobe wall approximately 15 meters high.

Andahuaylillas: Known as the "Sistine Chapel of America" due to the beauty of its frescoes, gold leaf work,
and Cusco school paintings housed inside.

Day 7: Cusco - Pisaq - Ollantaytambo - Valle Sagrado
In the morning, we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a shared service with english speaking tour
guide (the 5* program offers this service privately). Our first stop will be at the Taray viewpoint, where we
will observe the beauty of this valley, surrounded by mountains and the Vilcanota River. We will continue
to the archaeological complex of Pisac to visit the agricultural area as well as the pre-Hispanic cemetery.
Then we will stop at the craft market where we will have free time to interact with the locals and artisans,
as well as shop for beautiful crafts and souvenirs. We will continue to Urubamba, where you can optionally
have lunch.

Next, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a town of Inca origin with notable canals and cobblestone streets still in
use. At its upper part, there is an impressive ceremonial center and fortress that guarded the entrance to
the lower part of the valley.

Day 8: Valle Sagrado - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Transfer to the Ollantaytambo station in a private service (driver only) to board the train to the town of
Machu Picchu, also called Aguas Calientes. After the train ride, you will arrive at the Machu Picchu station
where you will be welcomed by our staff, who will accompany you to our office to introduce you to your
guide and then assist you in boarding the bus that will take you to the entrance of the citadel. The guided
tour is conducted by our expert guides in a shared service with english speaking tour guide (the 5*
program offers this service privately), who will ensure you have a memorable experience and achieve what
you came for (nature, history, photographs). At the end of the visit, our staff will assist you in boarding the
train back to Cusco.

Day 9: Cusco
Walking tour of the city of Cusco in a shared service with english speaking tour guide (the 5* program

San Blas neighborhood: It is one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Cusco, known as the artisans'
neighborhood. In its narrow, cobbled streets, you will find the most emblematic workshops of the city's
crafts. Located above the Plaza de Armas, it offers one of the most beautiful views of Cusco.
Plaza de Armas: The central square of the city, housing two churches and one of the most beautiful
colonial squares in Peru. Also, the Cathedral (exterior visit), the ancient heart of the capital of the Inca
Empire. It was built with stones from the Inca site of Sacsayhuamán over nearly a century starting in 1560.
San Pedro Market: A quick visit to one of the most frequented markets by Cusqueños, where we can
appreciate different products and crafts.
Coricancha or Temple of the Sun (view from outside): Built by Emperor Pachacútec, this temple was used
by the Incas to worship their main gods: Viracocha, the supreme god; Inti, the sun god; Quilla, the moon;
Chaska, the stars; Illapa, thunder and lightning; K'uychi, the rainbow.

Early morning departure to Palccoyo, the Rainbow Mountain. Palccoyo is a set of three colorful mountains
located approximately 3 hours southeast of Cusco, in the community of Palccoyo, Checacupe district. In
addition to the rainbow range (the three colorful mountains) that offer a magnificent natural spectacle,
There is also a stone forest around the site, giving the landscape a unique look. On the way, you can see
alpacas, vicuñas, and community residents. The mountain is colored due to the minerals present in the
soil: copper oxide, sandstone, red clay. It is estimated that these are sediments left by the water that
covered the region millions of years ago. Lunch on the way and return to Cusco. (Breakfast and lunch are
included in this excursion)
