The Cinque Terre and its 5 welcoming villages (Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia and Riomaggiore) are cling to rocky spurs or nestled in narrow coves. This coast is part of an Italian National Park, declared in 2001 thanks to its rare species of flora and fauna. The landscape is authentic and intimate. The famous terraced agricultural areas and small, colorful villages are also protected. The coastal paths or those at high altitude on the ridges, in the vineyards or among the olive and lemon trees, offer panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Sometimes little used, they run along the slopes, linking hamlets accessible only on foot and descending in steps to the old fishing villages, surrounded by multi-colored boats.

Day 1: Corniglia

Day 2: Corniglia - Monterosso

Departure for the tourist villages of Vernazza perched on its rocky promontory and Monterosso al Mare by the coastal paths. Vernazza, resplendent in color, has kept the appearance of an ancient fishing village and offers a naturally well-protected port. Swimming possible on the beach of Monterosso in crystal-clear water. Day 3: Monterosso - Levanto

Short train transfer to Monterosso al Mare. Climb to the Sanctuary of Soviore, the oldest sanctuary in Liguria dating back to the 17th century, via the pilgrims' staircase. Ridge route via the Gritta Pass to reach Pointe Mesco, overlooking the sea. Descent to Levanto and crossing the town with its typical medieval monuments and remains. Swimming possible at Levanto beach. Return to Corniglia by train. Day 4: Lerici

Train transfer to La Spezia and bus to Lerici, a small picturesque port. Loop on Monte Marcello, in the regional natural park located between the Gulf of Poets and the Apuan Alps, place of extraction of Carrara marble, one of the most prized thanks to its whiteness. Return to La Spezia station by bus and return to Corniglia by train. Day 5: Corniglia - Riomaggiore

Very beautiful stage on a balcony above the Mediterranean, and connecting three of the most beautiful villages in the park. From your accommodation, you move among the terraced vineyards to Volastra, a small village perched in the best developed and equipped areas of the local vineyard. Then, descend and visit the villages of Manarola and Riomaggiore. You connect these two villages, characterized by their tower houses and their houses with colorful facades, by a suspended route offering among the most beautiful panoramas of the coast. Day 6: Marola - Portovenere

Train transfer to La Spezia, famous for its military arsenal, then bus to the hamlet of Marola. Climb the ridges that overlook both the Gulf of La Spezia and the Riviera di Levante. A balcony route joins the Roman, then Genoese, city of Portovenere (Portos Veneris, the port of Venus). Visit the city, with its colorful houses as high as ramparts and boat connection to Monterosso al Mare (depending on the weather conditions at sea), along the coast of the Cinque Terre (45 min crossing). Return to Corniglia by train. Day 7: Corniglia

End of stay. We advise you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Corniglia, a good time to relax in the Italian style on the village square, to buy local products or discover the marina hidden in the bottom of the small neighboring valley. The program has been established according to the latest elements known at the time of its writing; imponderables are always possible and situations beyond our control can modify its course.
