Day 1: Epernay

Arrive at Épernay station and check into your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city center of the Champagne capital. For those arriving by car, drive directly to Épernay and check into your accommodation. Accommodation / meals : Night + breakfast in a hotel

Day 2: Hautvillers

Departure for Hautvillers, a historic site if ever there was one: the Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers abbey houses the tomb of the monk Dom Pérignon, a pioneer in the champagne-making process in the 18th century (the abbey is private and cannot be visited). Loop hike between forest and vineyards through the village of Romery. A visit to the village is recommended, with its narrow streets, beautiful flower-filled houses and small cellars... back to the hotel in Épernay. Day 3: Ay-en-Champagne

Today, we're off to Ay-en-Champagne via the -train des bulles-. This Champagne village is home to famous champagne houses: Veuve-Clicquot, Bollinger, Moët et Chandon... Loop walk along the ancient Roman road through the forest, the village of Mutigny and the Malmaison estate. Return to Ay via the hillside vineyards overlooking the village, then back to your hotel in Epernay. Day 4: Faux de Verzy

Departure for Verzy, on the northeastern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Climb up to the site of the “faux de Verzy”, a variety of beech with twisted branches and branches and unusual shapes, in the heart of a biological reserve. After the hike, return to the hotel in Épernay.
