Day 1: Arrival - SIem Reap

Arrive in Siem Reap Angkor International Airport by flight (TBA) and you will greet & welcome by Local tour guide who will introduce the history, culture and various aspects of Cambodia lives then transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure in hotel. Overnight in the hotel

Day 2: Siem Reap - Ruluos Group - Grand Circuit

After breakfast, take private transfer to visit the Roluos Group of temples which consists of three main temples: Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei. These temples were built in the 9th century and are some of the earliest examples of Khmer temple architecture. Spend some time exploring each temple and marveling at the intricate carvings and architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. In afternoon, visit the highlights of the Grand Circuit including: Preah Khan - meaning The Sacred Sword, this temple was also built by Jayawarman VII and is famous for its immensely long cruciform corridors and delicate carvings. Neak Pean - This temple is a delicate highlight of Khmer art. Then we continue to visit the largest of FIG tree at Ta Prohm temple, one of the area’s most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Then continue to Banteay Kdei temples and Ta Som temple. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 3 : Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat

Wake up early to enjoy the best time of Angkor Sunrise Tours, when the light is good and it is relatively quiet. Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like towers rising 65 metres from ground level. Back to hotel for breakfast. Experience with Remork Tuk Tuk to visit Angkor Thom, Big Angkor (12th century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, Bayon temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant After lunch, we will then continue to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor Wat Temple. The legendary Angkor Wat is the fabled and UNESCO World Heritage temple, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire its artistic distinctiveness as fine as that of the Taj Mahal. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. Back to hotel for refreshment. Note: To visit the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees to show their culture respect, as this temple is still considered as a sacrificial site for the Khmer people (no short miniskirt nor short trousers). Children under twelve years old are restricted not to climb up the tower. The tower will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days and four days a month in accordance with Lunar Calendar. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4 : Siem Reap - Kulen Mountain - Community Homestay

Breakfast at hotel. Today visit ancient city pre-Angkorian period is Kulen Mountain, most sacred mountain and national park in Cambodia about 50km far from city snaking through tropical jungle, spectacular panoramic views of the surroundings before reaching a focal point. From here, you can climb to the summit or hit the waterfall. The path to the peak passes the famous River of a Thousand Lingas, etched with carvings of Hindu gods and symbols, believed to date back to the reign of King Udayadityavarman II. The nearby attractions include a Reclining Buddha, Preah Ang Thom, 1,000 years old carvings on the bottom of river beds, waterfalls, forest, bathing areas and more than 20 ancient Angkor period temples spread out over the mountain plateau. You will have time for swimming at a nearby waterfall. Picnic lunch Box on the top of Koulen mountain. Driving down to local village nearby the hill, Tbeng village. Upon arrival, welcome by community leader, checking the lodge before walking around to have the village tour. Tbeng Village, is an attractive village setting with lots of activities on offer, including village walks, seasoning rice cultivation, artisan workshop etc. Dinner at homestay arrange by local people. Day 5 : Cooking Class - Monk Blessing - Elephant Forest

Get up very earlier to learn a cooking Cambodian cuisine with enthusiasm talented local chef team at their organic farm. Take market tour to pick the ingredient and fresh vegetables from nearby garden to prepare our Khmer Dishes. After the dishes is ready, pack and offer it to our buddhis monks at local pagoda following by monk blessing ceremony. Enjoy your own cook meal at pagoda/local village. In afternoon, pack your stuffs and leave local village for joining tour of Kulen elephant forest, a haven where retired elephants can interact freely, and are treated with the greatest care and attention. There are no tricks, no riding, and the elephants now roam and socialize unburdened, within 400 hectares of lush forest. Transfer back to Siem Reap town in late afternoon and check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 6 : Siem Reap - Battambang by Boat

Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel, our bus will drop us at boat pier to embark a private boat to Battambang (6~7hours from Sep – Jan and 8~10hours from Feb – Aug included 4x4 SUV). A unique way to experience Cambodia's landscapes and local life along the Tonlé Sap Great Lake and Sangke River. First stop at Chong Kneas village, a vibrant community where residents live in stilted and floating houses, sustaining their livelihood through fishing and tourism. We cross the great lake of Tonle Sap and continue to Prek Toal village via Sangke River. Explore floating houses, pagoda and schools. You also have chance to see bird species in their natural habitat. Continue our boat trip to visit Wat Chheu Khmao(Black Wood Pagoda) notable for its mysterious architecture, featuring unique black wood construction. Picnic lunch Box on the way. We continue our trip to another floating village of Bak Prea, with its unique blend of floating houses and stilted homes, offers an interesting perspective on Cambodian lakeside life. Observing the various fishing gear used by local families promises to be an enriching experience. Upon your arrival, disembark from boat and take private transfer to your hotel and check in. In late afternoon, experience the thrill of the Bamboo Train in a local village, a creative bamboo platform on 4 wheels activated by a small motor. Journey through picturesque landscapes and rice fields for 8km. Explore a wooden sculpture workshop in the village before returning to the city in the late afternoon. Tonight, explore the "Battambang Foodie Tour" (duration 2h/2h30) tasting stops including soft drinks, mineral water & local beer. This tour in the old colonial quarter of Battambang and along the banks of the Sangke river proposes to test the local cuisine in a dynamic and interactive way, exploring some unknown places of passing visitors. This original trip will take visitors to discover the real Khmer nightlife. (Inclusive of: 1 soft drink or 1 bottle of mineral water or 1 can/glass of local beer. Snacks (few items among) : Sweet Corn, BBQ Bird, Deep Fried Bananas, steam fish wrapped in banana leaf , sticker of steam eggs, Khmer desserts.)

Day 7 : Battambang - City Tour - Phnom Penh

Wake up earlier to visit the Bat Cave at Phnom Sampov mountain. Head to a suitable spot where you can watch the sunrise. Consider exploring the temple complex atop Phnom Sampov hill for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Visit the limestone caves, including the Bat Cave and Killing Caves, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and history of the area. Breakfast in hotel. Take the orientation tour of the city and its surroundings include the iron bridge, the provincial museum and the Governor's House (not French but Thai, dating back to 1830), and some beautiful colonial houses. Then discovery some of artisans who open their homes/workshop randomly: sculptors, manufacturers of incense, rice cakes, rice wine, Khmer noodle’s production, produce rice paper, prahoc (typical Cambodian fish paste), Krolan (sticky rice stuffed in bamboo). In the village, you will taste Krolan and seasoning fruit. Lunch at local restaurant. In afternoon, leaving Battambang to Phnom Penh (~5hours drive). Stop on the way, enchant your senses at a pottery-specialized village near Kampong Chhnang. Witness artisans shaping clay into unique masterpieces, unveiling the intricate world of Cambodian pottery. Revel in the cultural richness of the journey as you continue towards the vibrant city of Phnom Penh. Check in hotel in late afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 8 : Phnom Penh

After breakfast at the hotel, start your city tour by Wat Phnom, the Victory Monument, the Royal Statue of late King-father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, Independent Monument. You will then have the option to learn of the Khmer Rouge’s horrific crimes at Tuol Sleng, a former high school that the Khmer Rouge turned into a centre for interrogation, torture and death. Finish your tour at the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. In afternoon, visit the Royal Palace complex, home to the Cambodian royal family and a symbol of the nation. Continue to the Silver Pagoda, named after the 5000 silver tiles covering the floor. Leave the Royal Palace and continue to the nearby National Museum, home to the world’s finest collection of sculpture from the Angkor period.
