Day 1: Podgorica - Kolasin
Arrival at Podgorica airport. Reception and pick up of the vehicle at the airport. It is the beginning of the great treasure hunt.
First emotions in the land of the black mountains. On the northern road, the first kilometres offer incredible views of the Moraca canyon and promise a beautiful journey. Visit the monastery of the same name. At the end of the day, we continue on to Kolasin, a small town at the foot of the mountains of the Biogradska Gora National Park and an ideal base for visiting the surroundings and hiking. Check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in a traditional chalet in the surrounding of the city of Kolasin. Chalet 2 Rooms.

Day 2: Kolasin - Lipovo - Kolasin
A short walk with a guide, in private service, in the village of Lipovo. Departure from Kolasin by car to Lipovo to start an easy tour at the foot of the Sinjajevina mountain. This half-day program takes you through stunning scenery and ends with a visit to a farm. Dairy product tasting and lunch at the farm in the village of Lipovo, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Montenegro.

Hikking with private guide and ascent of two small peaks: Troglava (2,072 m) and Zekova Glava (2,117 m). From Kolasin, climb to Vranjak (1,671 m a.s.l.) to discover and settle into an eco-village of Katuns (traditional shepherd's huts). The walk begins with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains (Moracke, Komovi, Prokletije, Sinjajevina). Climb to Troglava, then Zekova Glava, which offers beautiful views of Lake Pesica. Return to Vranjak at the end of the day.
Note: The Bjelasica massif is part of the Biogradska Gora National Park and is considered a paradise for hikers and mountain lovers in general. Its relief is characterised by a great deal of jaggedness and numerous shapes due to volcanic origins, round and smooth, which differ from most other mountains in Montenegro with their crevasses. Bjelasica is known as the greenest mountain in Montenegro. From the peaks you can enjoy panoramic views over six lakes, each of which is truly attractive and worth seeing. The highest peaks are : Crna glava (Black Head) at 2,139m, Zekova Glava at 2,117m, and Troglava 2,072m. The most important lake is Lake Biograd, but the other five (Ursulovacko, Pesica, Sisko, Malo Sisko and Malo Ursulovacko) are equally splendid. In addition to the lakes, Bjelasica has numerous springs and vast, dense forests.

You leave most of your belongings at the hotel in the morning and take only a hiking bag with you for the stay in the mountains.

Day 4: Crna Glava peak - Kolasin
A day's hiking from Vranjak towards Lake Biogradsko, with the option of climbing Crna Glava (2,139 m) depending on the weather. Starting from Katun Vranjak, today's route takes in the famous Lake Biogradsko. Stop for lunch in a shepherd's village. Cross the stretches of forest bordering the lake.
-> D- 500 m. Walking time: approx. 4-5 hours (+ 3 hours if ascent). Moderate level with a 4 km descent to the lake.

Day 5: Kolasin - Zabljak
Unexpected journey to follow the Tara River. After having walked along the Biogradska Gora and Crna Poda National Park, which has one of the largest populations of black pines in Europe, you and your family will discover the program of the day.
Overnight in a 3* Chalet Lodge, near the town of Zabljak. One room chalet.

A day of walking and exploring the area, visiting the Black, Barno and Zminje Lakes. Departure from Zabljak to Durmitor National Park. Start of the hike from the park car park, after having taken the entrance ticket (3,00 EUR, not included).The walk starts with a climb through the forest to a small plain where Lake Barno is hidden in the tall grass. It's time to go deeper into the green forest following the main path, a very pleasant walk in the shade of the fir trees. When you reach the signpost, turn left and a smaller path opens up. At the end, the second lake of Durmitor, Lake Zminje, a blue spot among all this green as if anchored in the forest. The ideal place for a picnic by the water!
The second part of this hike takes place in an enchanting setting with a wilder décor, a slightly steeper path, and small waterfalls hidden in the hollows of the rocks... Completely covered by the park's tall trees throughout the hike, the wonder is all the greater when you leave the forest to emerge onto a clearing where the Black Lake is enthroned in its centre. A breathtaking spectacle where the mountain giants are reflected as if in a mirror in the mysterious waters.
Return to Zabljak at the end of the day.

Full-day jeep 4x4 exploration tour of the Durmitor National Park. A guided Jeep tour is one of the best ways to cross the park and visit its incredible landscapes. Drive through an attractive natural environment from Zabljak to the Stuoc viewpoint. Climb up to 2,050 m above sea level to reach the Grand Stuoc. From there, the views of the Tara River canyon are breathtaking. It is the deepest in Europe and the second deepest in the world. Then visit the village of Mala Crna Gora, located on the slopes of the Susica River canyon. Another nice break to discover the glacial lake. The passage through these canyons is a special experience, full of adrenaline. At the end of the day, you can still enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding open spaces: Piva River and the lake of the same name. Return to Zabljak.

Day 8: Zabljak - Virpazar - Skadar NP - Virpazar
From the northern mountains to the largest lake in the Balkans, including the Ostrog Monastery. Crossing the Durmitor National Park and panoramic descent to the canyon and lake of Piva. The winding road is spectacular and breathtaking. Stops at Lake Piva and then the monastery of the same name before a possible stop at the Ostrog Monastery, a religious monument in the heart of a cliff, the most visited in Montenegro. Continuation towards the south. Arrival on the shores of Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans. Check-in at the hotel.
Kayak trip of around 2 hours, without a guide, departing from Virpazar. The kayak gives you a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains in the distance. Explore the secret corners of Lake Skadar and discover the fishing villages in the middle of the wilderness. Sail among the reeds, water lilies and birds.

Day 9: Skadar NP - Virpazar
Boarding on a small traditional boat for a 5-hour private tour on Lake Skadar with lunch inckuded and a private guide, a true natural monument straddling Montenegro and Albania. The largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula, this body of water is also a grandiose ornithological reserve. You will sail among the water lilies and will be able to enjoy a dive from the boat driven by our Montenegrin captain. Lunch by the water in an inhabitant’s house.

Day 10: Virpazar - Lovcen NP - Bay of Kotor
From the Skadar Lake to the Bays of Kotor through the Lovcen National Park, a parade of landscapes and a change of scenery. Your quest will come to an end if you prove yourself worthy of the challenge. Take the very narrow road overlooking the lake and the fjord to Rijeka Crnojevica. Discover the fishing village before continuing the ascent to Cetinje, the former capital of the country and still today the cultural capital with its many museums that retrace the national history in particular.
From there, it is up to you to find the trace of the Sovereign thanks to the clues collected. The great family epic ends in a beautiful place where you discover your reward.
You have therefore been worthy of King Petar and your efforts are rewarded with a surprise stay in a magnificent hotel in the Bay of Kotor.
