This section takes you along the end of the Côte d’Émeraude to the final stage of the GR 34. From the corsair city of Saint-Malo to Mont-Saint-Michel, via Cancale (don’t miss the oysters!), Dol de Bretagne and the coastal paths, this itinerary will seduce you every day. An overnight stay gives you plenty of time to take in the sights at your leisure. This mythical stage is the high point of the itinerary, and the perfect end to your journey along the Breton customs trail.

Day 1: Saint-Malo

Day 2: Saint-Malo - Guimorais

Departure from the corsair town via the quays along the Grande Plage. Passage through Pointe de la Varde and Pointe de Rothéneuf (visit to the possible to visit the site of the sculpted rocks of Rothéneuf (fee payable). Before arriving at La Guimorais, we recommend you take the alternative route tour of Ile Besnard (1 h) and return to your accommodation for the night. Day 3: Guimorais - Cancale

From La Guimorais, you reach the pointe du Meinga before skirting the dunes and the plage du Guesclin, from where you can see the fort of the same name resting on its islet. on its islet. Day 4: Cancale - Dol de Bretagne

From Cancale to Hirel, you drive along the immense Bay of Cancale, with its many oyster beds visible at low tide. You then leave the sea behind and head inland to climb the Mont-Dol hill, from the top of which you can enjoy a 360° panorama of the bay and surrounding countryside. Day 5: Dol de Bretagne - Roz-sur-Couesnon

Leaving Dol, you reach the small massif of Saint-Broladre, which overlooks the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel by several dozen metres above the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, before descending to the polders at Quatre Salines. Day 6: Roz-sur-Couesnon - Mont-Saint-Michel
